Advanced programming[1]

In genetic algorithms, an important parameter in population size which directly affects the ability to search for an optimum solution in the search space. Having a large population size will lead to the accuracy of getting an optimal solution although, if the search space is small, having a large population size would not be beneficial. Hence, the optimal size population has been determined, but the size is kept fixed.
