One of the best ways to "discuss the social impacts and ethical consideration" of something is to weigh the potential advantages and the potential disadvantages. You should then discuss how you might weigh the advantages against the disadvantages. The IB specifically asks us to consider:

  • tagging prisoners
  • surveillance
  • CCTV
  • improved safety systems
