Logic is a formal language that allows us to make assertions about the world in a very precise way

A logic-based AI has 2 parts:

1. knowledge base
2. inference engine (to make inferences from the knowledge base)

• Soundness: Only valid conclusions can be proven
• Completeness: All valid conclusions can be proven
• Predicate A function that maps arguments to true or false values
